OneBase Pico Node B is a fully self-contained WCDMA Node B radio base station that supports 1700, 1900, or 2100 MHz bands. This single carrier picocell wireless base station provides 250 mW power output, features a capacity of up to 80 users, and at 6 kg (13 lb) in weight is easily deployed by a single technician.

The OneBase Macroshelf is a complete, open standard radio frequency solution that fits within the base station and integrates transceiver, power amplification, filtering, combining, and associated RF shelf hardware.

Based on CPRI™ and OBSAI open standards, the Macroshelf solution enables OEMs to cost effectively source the complete RF path from within the base station from one, trusted, single provider. OneBase™ MCPA Cell Extender

Multicarrier power amplifier (MCPA) Cell Extender extends coverage or increases capacity of wireless base stations by using a technology-agnostic design capable of simultaneously supporting any current wireless standard.

The MCPA Cell Extender is based on 135 W power amplifier modules that can provide signal amplification for mixed mode applications, such as CDMA, GSM/EDGE, and WCDMA. The unit can operate at 800, 1800 (coming soon), and 1900 MHz, has a dual band-capable sub-rack, and provides RF band filtering on the front end. Versions are offered for North American and European deployments.

The MCPA Cell Extender’s design takes into full consideration the operator’s needs, and it’s scalable, flexible platform consists of “standard” field replaceable units that are easily reconfigured for application-specific requirements. It comes in both indoor and outdoor versions.

Tower mounted amplifiers (TMAs) provide low noise amplification in the receive path (uplink) of the RF communications channel. TMAs have been deployed in networks for a number of years and provide better receive performance by balancing the RF power link budget. OneBase™ Remote Radio Head

A Remote Radio Head permits network operators to deploy the active RF electronics remotely from a radio base station. These units are part of a distributed base station system where all radio-related functions are housed in a unit mounted outside the traditional base station transceiver system and linked to a main unit that contains the control and baseband signal processing.

Remote radio heads enable lower capital and operating expenses, reduce typical power requirements, and add flexibility to network configurations.

Andrew’s convection-cooled high power – 22.5 W – OneBase digital Remote Radio Head complies to open standard digital interface requirements and uses a fully digital architecture, including digital predistortion and dual-diversity reception, a merchant-market industry first.
